Can't spell Anwar without War

Sick of Malaysian politics? Not as sick as me, I'll bet. Reason: I work in the friggin' news.

My opinion on Malaysian politics: Let Anwar win. Reason: So that everyone can get back to what they were doing before all this politicking started. (Was there ever even a time like that?) And then later we can all start rioting to change governments once again. It's the Cycle of Malaysian politics.

At the current time, it feels a bit like those weekly episodes of old 80s cartoons. Bad guy group launches evil scheme. At the end of the episode, the good guys foil the plan and the bad guy goes "I will have my revenge! / I'll be back! / You haven't seen the last of me!". (You can imagine Anwar saying that after each foiled plot, kan?) And ends with the good guys having a laugh. And maybe throw in one of those public service announcements at the end. (references: Centurions, MASK, Transformers, GI Joe, Captain Planet, etc.)

Except that I don't really see anyone in Malaysian politics as the "good guys".
