I < 3 Lists

At work, lunchtime, was busy pasting stuff onto a board (with Bostik!) and now I'm writing.

It's only been a few days since the previous entry, but I suppose I should update in case I forget what happened recently.

The dirty talk in the office has not yet died down. And I hope it never will, it brings much needed joy into the workplace. I'm not sure how it started; Maybe it was the material supplier "GlassKote" (pronounced "coat"). Maybe it was the double doors in the plans that look like cleavage/butts. Who knows.

Circled: One of the "cleavage/butts"

Me and Alia just signed up for a gym yesterday, and we're hoping to go there every day starting today. The registration fee is actually an insane RM1K, but the first 500 get it for free. I'll probably mention the name of the place once they're done recruiting 500. I don't really want people I (currently) know seeing me "work out".

Finished War for Cybertron, so I can cross that off my list of games I'm currently playing. Hopefully this Ramadhan I can cross off more. It's always a good month for games (because you don't need to stop to eat).

So back to topic, I've recently realized certain things. And thus I make lists. But it's all a bit too mental, I really should start writing them down. One would be "Strange Things Over-Religious Malays Do". I started realizing this one thing when me and my work colleague went to Dayabumi. We had to wait for the bosses to be done with their presentation so it was pretty much like hanging out at a mall. He had a water bottle with him, and we wanted to go into the toilet. Strangely, he acted as if there was a forcefield at the doorway of the toilet that was not allowing him to bring the water bottle in there with him! In the end, I offered to hold on to the bottle outside the toilet while he goes in first.

Another point for this list, I probably mentioned long ago when I was still working for Double U Network. About "Topi Merah Merosakkan Aqidah", when a whole episode of... one of the shows that company made, was a Christmas special. Of course, the songs were crap. Terrible English, as usual. But the reason it did not receive approval from FINAS (or was it RTM) was because it featured kids wearing red Santa Claus hats! So yeah, Strange Over-Religious Malay rules.

But that is just 2 points out of 1 list. I got more lists, one being "Why BM is irrelevant" (no usage outside Malaysia, it's inconsistent even within the country, Bahasa Pasar, etc etc). I'm sure I have more but I never wrote them down.
