New Seasons

September, when all the TV series begin again with seasons anew. Sure it's October now, but we don't really see all those new episodes til the middle of Sept. By now, the new seasons are at least on their 2nd episodes.

Tujuan saya menulis entry ini ialah untuk mengisi masa lapang di hari kerja yang bosan ini.

Had an open house last Saturday, so I got to meet some old faces that I haven't seen for quite a long time. Unfortunately, I was quite busy meeting with everyone that I didn't take any pictures with anyone that day. The attendees included (in no particular order): Alia, Craig, Putri, Fadzli, Shah, Syah, Fazlin, Linggesh, Micheal, Micheal's girlfiend, Aimran, Fasya, Adam, Luqman, Farah, Hazwan, Hidayah, Azman, Azmil, Hakim, Najif, Aye, Mooky, Mashi, Marzuk, and Kassim.

Then there were outings with Alia and her gang, Tomoko, Linggesh, etc doing coffee at Cof Rit and board games at Meeples. Gym's still doing good. I suppose I'm starting to get used to the pump from the BodyPain classes. I've been fasting the past few days, only 1 more day left til I'm done with the Puasa 6.

Me and Alia have sort of decided on changing to Digi after years of using Maxis/Hotlink. The latter is being quite expensive as of late. But Digi has issues with signal, so we're still trying things out. But it should be cheaper, considering I'm currently paying RM10 for a line, 30 cents a minute for calls, and 5-15 cents per sms.

This morning my car couldn't start and I was stuck at PNB Darby for quite a while. I usually arrive work before 9 after dropping Alia off at work, but today I got to work about... the same time I did a few weeks after I started work (around 9.30). My battery died. Must start sending the car for servicing. Same goes for my teeth. It's been, what, 2 years since my last dentist visit?

Work is really lacking this week. Even less than last week. Or 2 weeks before that. Least being the Raya week where all I did was play the DS, laptop, answer phone calls and opening the front door.

That new Transformers series should be starting soon, but I'm not really looking forward to it after going through whatever information I found about it. The art style (Bayformers + Animated), the synopsis (Human drama WTF!), it all points to it being... bad. Micheal Bay still intends to release the third movie next year though. Sigh. Maybe Micheal Bay, James Cameron and M Night Shyamalan can get together and make an extremely good looking movie with lots of CG that makes zero sense story-wise and make lotsa money.
