Transformers 3

Hopefully the final ever Micheal Bay Transformers movie. (Just in case someone else makes a more proper Transformers movie in the far future.)

I watched it earlier this month with my brothers. We all decided to watch it just for the sake of watching, we did not expect it to be good. Especially since the previous one was really, really bad.

The movie was good overall... Until I read this one review which made me realise several gigantic plotholes. So if you plan to watch it, don't expect much logic, good story or references to the previous movies.

My colleagues at my current workplace have already watched it before and some took MCs the day after watching it. After watching it myself, I can understand why.

The final action scenes are VERY long. And tiring. I think I felt the same way about the final action scenes in Inception, where one action scene felt too long and I'm just waiting for the next thing to happen (That gun fight in the snow place. We just wanna see the guy get to the girl or the vault or something. Forgot the story already.). In Transformers 3, the scenes were about people falling out of a building that's being attacked by a giant robot worm, and some other scenes that involved humans being attacked by the Decepticons. Come to think of it, I was probably bothered by the lack of action that actually involved the Autobots.

At least I didn't have as much to complain about it as I did the second movie. Also, I think this third movie is successful in achieving the main objective of any Transformers show: To sell toys. It looked like the movie had enough Transformer participation for anyone to want its merchandise, both for themselves and their children.
